Steve has been restoring cars on varying levels for over 15 years. From detail fanatic to complete cosmetic restorations, cosmetic renewal and restyling is his passion. His enthusiasm for cars started with the at home restoration of a 1966 Mustang Convertible in 1988. Steve began working for a company in 1991 servicing auto dealers performing vinyl & leather repair, windshield chip repair, stripes & graphics, aftermarket accessories, and window tinting. In 1995, Steve entered the paintless dent removal trade. Opening Body Parts LLC in 1998, Steve brought all of his experience into one package. He has been serving the needs of auto dealers, body shops, and the general public for over five years. During that time he has acquired a vast knowledge of vehicle cosmetics components. Hands on experience has not only taught him how to maintain and restore these materials, but that each material is different and what exactly happens to them due to contamination or misuse. For example, differences between vat dyed leather and top-coated leather, polypropylene or ABS plastics, single stage paints and base coat paints, polished aluminum, chromed aluminum, and stainless steel. This knowledge and experience ensures that every aspect of your vehicle receives specific care according to it's individual needs. His reputation as an expert in paintless dent removal has attracted customers with the most critical demands even after some have been told by other "professionals" that their car could not be repaired - Steve has proven them wrong.
